Milestone victory for much-admired stallion

Chard, Somerset

THE much-admired stallion Chacco Volo claimed his first area trial for Adrian Whiteway, proving himself against the clock as he topped a bumper 11-strong jump-off. This super-scopey son of Chacco-Blue, who is owned by Deborah Cox, has been produced slowly by Adrian since a four-year-old, with bigger tracks in mind.

Last year he finished third in the grade C final at Horse of the Year Show, as well as collecting seventh in a CSI4* grand prix in Vilamoura. However, this was one of the first wins of the nine-year-old’s career.
