Compromising photos
It’s becoming a common trick of phone manufacturers to launch a range of high-end phones, sell them for a few months, then bring some of that technology to a cheaper range of models in an attempt to draw in those who can’t or won’t pay premium prices.
That certainly seems to be the reasoning behind the Google Pixel 6a, which takes the new technology we saw in the Pixel 6, reviewed in Issue 620) and the Pixel 6 Pro (£849 from ) and puts it in a smaller, more affordable phone (with a launch price of £400).
