Junkyard Junction

ROTORUA’S Tony Payne has been into old cars, particularly USA V8s, plus British and American motorcycles most of his life. He used to ride a '41 Indian Scout to high school and then to work at his very first job.

In his late teens, Tony had an assortment of British bikes plus a ’38 DeSoto called the “Big D” before he reached 20. He also rode a cool 750cc Indian chopper in the early ’70s and spent a lot of time pedalling a ’57 Ford around town with a bunch of mates
