‘To win here is amazing’

AS soon as Nicole Lockhead Anderson crossed the line in the Fiji Water CSI2* 1.45m grand prix, it was clear no one would come close to the target she set with Tom Williams’ gifted grey mare, Chilli.

Canada’s Ali Ramsay (Bonita Van Der Keizershof Z) gave it a shot, attempting a previously untried inside route, but stopped the clock one second behind.

“She’s an absolute legend,” said Nicole. “She’s naturally very fast, so I knew I needed to give her every chance to jump the fences.”
