WALK, TALK, GAWK

ATLANTIC CITY – The 42nd National Sports Collectors Convention was open to the public for 35 hours over a five-day span — and another two-and-a-half hours for VIPs — but it hardly seemed like enough time.

Walk, talk and gawk. Repeat. Lots and lots of gawking, that’s for sure. There’s so much to see, so much to do, so many people to interact with, autographs to grab and more. The National could be a week-long event and many would still want more time.

I’d like more money, obviously. Then again, I’m sure everyone would, too. If only to have an endless supply of Benjamin Franklins, or an unlimited credit card that never had
