Who is… Pilote Group

Pilote is an established and highly regarded leisure vehicle manufacturer with a significant presence across the UK and Europe.

As with all manufacturers, it has been working hard to manage the demand for new models at a time when supply has been so constrained.

But Pilote is optimistic and says it expects the chassis supply issues that have caused such havoc to resolve themselves in early 2023. This optimism is rare and rather refreshing when it comes from a major motorhome manufacturer.

“All chassis suppliers, Fiat included, expect to do better in 2023,” says Antoine Gueret, Head of Sales and Marketing at Pilote, “Nevertheless, the latest few months have forced us to remain cautious.”

He says the chassis issues that have meant motorhomes buyers have been waiting months longer than normal for their new models to be delivered, could be resolved as early as March
