BBT Open House and convoy

While the 2022 Hessisch Oldendorf vintage VW meet officially started on Friday June 24 this year, for some vintage VW fans the fun and games began when Bob van Heyst opened the doors to BBT in Belgium (www.bbt4vw.com) on the Wednesday prior. Bob also organised a convoy from his premises to Germany the following day, but not before everyone had the opportunity to check out his fantastic VW collection, said to be one of the largest in Europe. As well as VWs various, he also has a number of rare coachbuilts, classic Porsches and other rarities to drool over.

Outside the main building, visitors enjoyed refreshments as they checked out all the cool cars that had gathered in the car park, many of which would be taking part in the convoy to Germany the following day. For unlike a lot of collectors,
