Fake your data when signing up to websites

One of the biggest hurdles to staying anonymous online is having to provide your email address - and often your name and other personal data - when you register with websites. You can keep this information private using an extension called Reggy (www.snipca.com/427240), which generates instant random identities for signing up with sites.

Install Reggy in Chrome or another Chromium browser, then click its toolbar button when registering with a website that doesn’t require genuine details. The add-on will suggest a fake username and password, and other details including gender, date of birth, address and phone number, which you can enter in the sign-up form by clicking Fill Form (see in screenshot below left). Reggy to access accountverification messages sent to this address.
