Clutching the piece of paper in my hand, I whooped with delight.
‘I did it!’ I smiled, grateful for my new-found freedom.
It was February 2014 and I’d just passed my driving test.
Soon, I got my first car – a second-hand silver Vauxhall Corsa.
It made life so much easier, as I drove to work as a nursery nurse instead of taking the bus.
Went out with friends, giving them a lift if they needed one.
