RESILIENCE IN ATLANTA

My first impression of BLADE Show 2022 was that a lot of folks I expected to see again were absent. When a show evolves a little each year you do not notice some of the changes; however, combine all the changes from three years into one* and they become more prominent.

This year time and the economy really showed its influence on the show. Many old friends simply were not there. Some had died. Illness or fear of the pandemic and worry about the economy probably held some back. The high price of airline tickets and an absolute lack of available flights likely kept others from making it as well. Visitors from other countries faced even tougher restrictions or found travel absolutely denied.

However, the knife community provided
