The Disciplined Artist

I enrolled at the South Australian School of Art immediately after leaving school, and like most part-time students, started with Object Drawing, Design and Colour followed by Antique Drawing (drawing from antique casts). Around this time I was lucky enough to get a job in the display studio with Myer Rundle Street store and my lifetime interest in art began. My career however was to be in advertising where I started as a layout man, and became a commercial artist, copywriter and account service manager. Advertising enticed me to Melbourne where I lived until returning to Adelaide 12 years ago.
