MY LOVE FOR DRAWING AND FOOTBALL exploded when I was six or seven years old and discovered the comic, Roy of The Rovers. I literally copied all the drawings in those magazines and never stopped.

In secondary school, I had two great art teachers who spotted my talent very early on. They created a healthy competition between us as art students and we kept pushing each other all the way, trying to be the best at what we loved.

Then came the time for me to choose what to study in higher education. I wanted to choose architecture because that’s what my dad would have wanted. But then I lost both of my parents, which gave me the opportunity to choose what I would love to study. I
