The first thing that drew my eyes to this pattern was the adorable scalloped edge of the bodice. I’ve never sewn a scalloped edge before, and was intrigued to try it out; it’s such a fun detail! I really love the unusual horizontal princess seam on the bodice, it’s a very flattering style line and opens up possibilities for colour blocking or pattern mixing in the use of fabrics.
