NZV8: Gidday Steve, beautiful ute, what is the story behind this one?

Steve Butcher: I have had this one for 21 years now. This 1977 HX was bought as a work wagon for the first 12 months that I owned it. It was orange with a white canopy until I started stripping it down. Ever since I was young, I always wanted an HZ or a WB ute with a V8 dropped into it, so eventually it had to happen. I came across this particular example and jumped at the chance to transform it.
