PURPLE CONEFLOWER
ith drooping petals, this coneflower () is a late-summer star and a favourite with pollinators. It needs full sun, shelter and well-drained soil, and will reward with blooms from June to September. In winter, leave the seedheads for wildlife, then cut stems to the ground in late February. H: 80cm-1m.
