The LG C2 is a mouthwatering update to one of last year’s biggest TV hits, the LG C1. This new version ushers in a new era for the C-series OLED TVs, boosting the brightness with new panel technology and adding the first 42-inch version to the line-up.

Here, we dive into exactly what you can expect from the improved OLED panel with its Brightness Booster technology and LG’s most powerful processor yet.

All that shiny new tech has seen a sobering increase in the price tag, and the 42-inch and 48-inch versions don’t come with the brightness improvements. It’s only the 55-inch and up models – we tested the 65-inch set – that get the full effect of its image quality improvements.

In total there are six C2 OLED sizes available, covering 42 - 83 inches. But don’t expect to save large amounts of money by downsizing.
