Kia ora!

s we prepare to hit the printer, I’m counting down the seconds until the Commonwealth Games begin. While I’m not usually the on page 20, scoring a major role on is a spectacular silver lining! Another Kiwi actor with a fascinating tale is Michelle Ang, who talks about her return home from Hollywood on page 30. It was only when a publicist sent through some old photos of her that I realised why she felt so familiar… I’d completely forgotten we’d shared a scene on when I went undercover as an extra for a story back in 2006 (right). Michelle was actually the one who questioned whether I was a real journalist – because I sure as hell wasn’t a great actor! Enjoy the mag and have a great week.
