PORTRAY BEAUTIFUL BALANCE WITH SYMMETRY PHOTOGRAPHY

Symmetrical photographs are a simple and effective way to make an image attractive to a viewer’s eye. We are drawn to things that look ordered and calm and symmetry fulfils these criteria.

Symmetry is defined as the ‘quality of having parts that match each other, especially in a way that is attractive, or similarity of shape or contents.’ It’s a relatively easy concept to use and in this article, I’ll guide you through how to get symmetrical photographs.

EQUIPMENT

You don’t need any specialised equipment to shoot symmetrical images but, as with all photography, there are things that will make life easier! A wide-angle lens is ideal for symmetrical photography,
