Gaffigan’s ‘bit’ soundtracks an avalanche of TikTok hiking fails and, by default, splits the world into two camps: those who hike and those who find the very idea preposterous. But it may have given guided-walk specialist Life’s an Adventure an idea. Perhaps there is indeed middle ground – if you dangle an appropriately seductive hook, like South Australian riesling.
