Find and replace special characters
As well as searching for and replacing normal text, Word lets you quickly replace special characters such as tabs, indents and paragraph marks. With your document open, press Ctrl+H to open the ‘Find and Replace’ box, then click ‘More>>’ at the bottom, followed by the Special dropdown menu (again at the bottom).
