Survey finds one in five don’t support horses in sport
Equestrian sports are in need of public support in order to continue. An independent survey revealed that one in five respondents did not support the continued involvement of horses in sport under any circumstances, indicating that the public “do not always trust us to protect the key stakeholder — the horse”.
The survey also found that more than half felt horse welfare should be prioritised more.
