Red centre

Here’s a pic of me with my 1974 BMW R 75/6 heading to the 1978 Centre Rally in Alice Springs. This photo was taken on the road about an hour east of Croydon in North Queensland. I still own this bike, having ticked just over 210,000km. Ten minutes after Lilly took this pic, a ’roo charged out of the high grass and cannoned into the front wheel, causing the bike, Lilly and myself to take a tumble into the bulldust. Luckily there was no serious damage to any of us!
