PHYLLIS FIFE
hyllis attended boarding school at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. She went on to study with expressionist Howard Warshaw at the University of California at Santa Barbara. In between her fashion design work and painting, she received her doctorate at the University of Arkansas and taught at Northeastern State University, directing its Center for Tribal Studies.
