Build a Pilbara Rail C36-7M
I am a fan of Australian railways living in Japan. I am particularly interested in mining railways in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
I am fascinated by the locomotives with their unique ‘Pilbara Cabs’. I wanted to build a HO scale model of these locomotives.
My eyes caught the bright silver ‘Pilbara Rail’ C36-7M locomotive, I felt it looks somehow cool. However, the only available Pilbara cab locomotive was a BHP Iron Ore version by Bachmann as part of a trainset:
