Why do you support Tottenham?

I was born in Ponders End, a mile and a half from White Hart Lane. Both of my parents were Irish, and if you’re Irish and born in the 1940s, you were legally obliged to support Manchester United. My father wasn’t into football, though, so being born by the ground, Spurs became my team. Actually, my aunt’s family knew the team doctor, Brian Curtin, and she later worked for Mike Varney, Spurs’ physio in the ’80s.
