One of the most exciting announcements at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference was the launch of passkeys, a new feature for Apple devices that allows developers to offer a passwordless sign-in experience and sounding the death knell for traditional passwords.

There’s no denying that we’ve come a long way over the past ten years when it comes to digital security. We’ve said goodbye to ‘password123’ and hello to features like Touch ID and two-factor authentication, but the truth is that logging into and managing our online accounts is still complicated and unnecessarily cumbersome.
