SUPPORT FOR JANNA

I was stunned, having just finished reading the article on Janna Ezat (NZWW July 18), the mother of Hussein Al-Umari, who bravely tried to intervene on the cowardly gunman at the Al Noor Mosque shooting in Christchurch in 2019. Hussein’s attempt to intervene on the terrorist sadly resulted in his own death, which is horrific enough, but I was stunned by his mother Janna’s reaction in court to that evil man.
