Q&A Dylan van Baarle

Cyclist: You claimed your first Monument by winning the fastest-ever edition of Paris-Roubaix in April. Why were you shaking your head in the velodrome? Shock?

Dylan van Baarle: Yeah. I’ve been part of five Classics campaigns with the team and we have always aimed to win one. In the past couple of years we were getting closer, and this year everything came together. I couldn’t believe it. When I reached the velodrome I checked the screen to see if it was really happening, you know? It was just disbelief.
