Beat the heat

Heat hurts. We don’t mean the pain of sunburn but rather the physiological and psychological pain you can feel from riding in extreme heat.

It’s a paradox of cycling. We spend all winter moaning about the wet and cold, dodging the rain or taking to the turbo, only for the weather to leave us feeling like our clothes have been glued on when the sun finally shows its face.

Thankfully there are things you can do to perform at your best and recover without melting into a puddle.
