    When Elizabeth and Steve Mason made a sale before they had even opened their shop in the north-eastern Victorian town of Beechworth, they took it as a sign she was onto something special. More than 30 years down the track, The Finer Things of Life, a little treasure trove of vintage-inspired jewellery and beautiful things for the home, is still going strong and they are about to open a branch in nearby Rutherglen.
