Should I call off the deal?
Q I’m trying to buy a local business and I have verbally agreed to it but not signed the contract. The goalposts keep moving on their part and I no longer think it is a viable proposition. We live in a small place and I think the owners will bad-mouth me, which won’t be good for my business. I just don’t know what to do. Name and address withheld
