Q: What led you to guitar land?
Watching Chuck Berry on Johnny Carson’s show when I was 10. Chuck was doing his duck walk — the coolest thing ever. My whole career has been having one foot in rock and one in country, and I feel Chuck just as much in both worlds.
Q: What was your first guitar?
I played a tennis racquet until I was 15, which is! Eventually I got a second-hand Alvarez at a garage sale.
