The new Labor Government wasted no time getting started on lifting the minimum wage. A 5.2 per cent increase just shows the state of our economy with inflation now predicted to reach 7 per cent by the end of the year, fuel still through the roof and now an energy crisis adding to our bills.
While some may see this as an opportunity for owner-drivers to pick up more work, what it really means is that we’re falling behind again.
