#115 MARTYN ASHTON’S 1997 CANNONDALE B900

Younger readers may know Martyn Ashton as the presenter of GMBN’s Dirt Shed Show or the star of the viral Road Bike Partyvideos, but back in the mid-1990s he found fame as half of the two-man MTB trials duo dubbed ‘The Martins’ with fellow UK legend Martin ‘Hawziee’ Hawyes. The pair competed in the British and World Championships, did demos and regularly graced the pages – and cover – of this very magazine. Fresh off a thrilling appearance in our 1997 movie (released on VHS tape!), the duo were ready to embark on a new project.
