YOU WILL NEED Quilt
■ Print fabrics: at least twelve (12) fat quarters, or equivalent scraps
■ Background fabric: one (1) bedsheet or thirteen (13) fat quarters
■ Lightweight fusible interfacing (20in wide): ½yd
■ Backing fabric: 58in x 74in
■ Batting: 58in x 74in
■ Coloured thread for the pom pom ties (optional)
■ One (1) copy each of the Flower Scallop, Flower Petal, Flower Centre and Circle Wedge templates
FINISHED SIZE
■ 50in x 66in
REPURPOSE AN OLD BEDSHEET AND USE IT FOR THIS QUILT'S BLOOMING BACKING FABRIC!
NOTES
■ Seam allowances are ¼in throughout, unless otherwise noted.
■ RST = right sides together.
■ The Flower Scallop & Flower Centre templates are for needle turn appliqué and do not include a seam allowance. Add a ¼in seam allowance after tracing around the template and before cutting out. Use a removable fabric marker on the right side of the fabric.
■ The Flower Petal template is for machine piecing and includes a ¼in seam allowance. Use a removable fabric marker on the wrong side
