MY LITTLE FACE BRICKS

AS A child, she had a hand-me-down suitcase full of plastic bricks and would spend hours playing with them. To Michelle Kruger, Lego was a status symbol. Kids who had lots of Lego were well-off. Those who didn’t – or had to wait for their brothers and sisters to outgrow the craze –really appreciated the stuff.

“But I’ve upset the apple cart now,” Michelle (34) says, laughing. “I’m spending thousands on Lego.”
