Revamp complete

The £multimillion refurbishment of the St Helier Marina was completed in time for the Jersey Boat Show.

The project, which began last September, has included the installation of new pontoons and fingers. Up to £3.5million has been invested on the works, which are the first since the marina opened in 1981.

There is also an ongoing £5million programme to upgrade the ageing Albert Pier terminal and introduce 24-hour-access berthing pontoons.

The three-day Barclays Jersey Boat Show returned for the first time in almost three years after previous editions were cancelled due to pandemic restrictions, and attracted around 30,000 people to St Helier Marina and adjacent Weighbridge.
