A HIGHLAND stallion in his first open season pulled out all the stops en route to the top spot in a hotly contested Andrews Family £1,000 ridden native supreme.

Lancashire producer Vikki Smith had Lynda Johnson’s super typey nine-year-old Finglands Braveheart (Ernie) right on song to lead the 17-strong finale.
