It might sound obvious, but be prepared. One of the many joys of a caravan holiday is that you have far more space than you would if you were going on a more traditional break, which means that everybody can pack for all eventualities.
The key for us as a family on tour is having everything we might need to ensure the children are always entertained, even on rainy days.
