Wallabadah Festival ‘The Way It Was’

The Wallabadah Racecourse is well known for hosting New Year’s Day Races. Situated 55km South of Tamworth on the New England Highway, the Racecourse is nestled in the hills of the Liverpool Plains. Racing NSW cancelled the iconic race meet, which deemed the track unsafe, in late 2021. The 169 year tradition of the Wallabadah Cup is now history. So, what does the Jockey Club do now?
