we’ve been reading a trio of early Bosch crime-thrillers (because when you’re laying in a poorly heap on the sofa also by Michael Connelly but from his Lincoln Lawyer series – and jolly entertaining it was, too; by AG Riddle (alien invasion! The end of the world! Superb stuff); , by Glynn Stewart (fifth book in a jolly scifi series about a bunch of mercenaries, and good fun with it); by Martha Wells (remarkably dull desert scifi from the author of the utterly excellent Murderbot series), and , by Adrian Tchaikovsky (superb galaxy-spanning scifi stuff; great plot, characters and entertainment!
