‘ECO SEED’ WINS TOP DESIGN AWARD

Design Ventura, the Design Museum’s free annual school prize, has been won by a team of students from Cambourne Village College in Cambridge with their innovative product Eco Seed.

Designed by a team of Year 10 students, Eco Seed is a doughnut-shaped grid which floats on water, enabling seeds to germinate and at the same time allowing the user to observe the plant’s growth. The judges praised its unique idea of letting you view the process of germination
