Sands Infinity
The Infinity is a completely new from the ground up compared to the larger capacity Horizon it is replacing in the Sands line-up. So, for now there are two models, the 5,000 and 6,000-litre.
Powered by a 242hp six-cylinder Deutz Stage V engine, the hydrostatic transmission offers traction control, cruise control and eco engine management that allows operation at lower rpm where possible to minimise fuel use. The all-new chassis provides 1.2m underbelly clearance, allowing the Infinity to handle larger wheels (turning circle 7.6m).
Key changes in the cab include a new armrest that puts all operating functions at the driver’s fingertips, and the new overhead screen control system provides fingertip operation of filling, lights, machine health check management and hydraulic sliding axles (track width adjustable from 1.8m-2.2m). Selected at the touch of a foot pedal, the 4WS system can be adapted to suit the work
