Fantastic atmosphere at the combined event

ASSOCIATION OF SPECIALIST BUDGERIGAR SOCIETIES

THE seventh combined annual members’ show of the Association of Specialist Budgerigar Societies (incorporating the Crested BC, Clearwing BBA, Rare Variety & Colour BS, Spangled BBA & Variegated BC) and the Lutino & Albino BS kick-started the show season on May 15 at the usual venue in Bugbrooke, reports Ghalib Al-Nasser, event organiser.

Despite the drop in entry, it was still a great success as fanciers were looking forward to getting back to their usual routine prior to Covid-19. Both the judges and exhibitors felt that the atmosphere was good, relaxing, and pleasant and with good attendance at the AGMs of the ASBS & LABS. Everyone is looking forward to next year’s event at the same venue in Bugbrooke on May 14.

Throughout the day, Sue Clarke, ably assisted by Zoe Pattinson, were kept busy providing first-class refreshments and an excellent buffet lunch for which the members were all grateful. The show ran very efficiently with Rod Clarke as show
