Suddenly Toprak pulled off the circuit, no steam, no smoke, no oil but no power either

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to expect to replicate the last lap dramas of the Portuguese round every weekend, but WorldSBK still served up plenty of sharp breath intakes – and one big exhalation of relief. This was the weekend we would see just how strong the Ducati V4 R is as an all-rounder; there are straights to use the power, but not ones like in Estoril or the first venue of the year, Motorland.
