Jack was taking his first surf lesson when, like all good photographers, he saw the potential for a photograph - “I got up running, full wetsuit on, mid lesson, up the shore to my bag and camera and ran back down to catch these surfers just passing me and heading into the misty afternoon sun. It became a set of three photos I’ve never been able to pick from and to be honest, haven’t moved very far from my hard drive but are probably my most reflected upon images”.
