Teaching painting at my own personally organised workshops and at two art colleges in London, I encounter art students at different levels, from amateurs to semi-professionals. Sometimes I meet people who are enthusiasts and just want to paint occasionally, while others paint as a hobby or pastime. During my teaching I have often noticed several common mistakes. In this article, I am going to explain the most common ones and provide you with solutions. Speed
This is the first one! I know it sounds a bit obvious but while at art college this was one of my gracious habits. I thought it was actually my strength.
