EPORTED working out of Fort William in early April, No. 37219 appears to have developed a fault at Crianlarich in the middle of the month that could not be rectified, resulting in the locomotive being stopped in the sidings, where it still remained as of the end of May. With No. 37025 returned to Bo’ness for repairs and Nos. 37057, 37099, 37175, 37254 and 37421 all out of action, this left the operator mostly relying on No. 37099 and its roster
