Military Vehicles Magazine Celebrates 2022, the Year of Willys-Based Military Vehicles

Mac’s, Willys MB, delivery date 16 June 1944, with original engine and frame. It is one of the few Willys military vehicles that were sent by the US to Portugal after WWII - M. Correia.

While stationed in South Korea with the 9th Division Air Force Base K-13 Suwan in 1953-1954 with the motor vehicle squadron, I had the privilege to select a jeep to take trips to the 38th parallel. This was a war-torn and poor part of the Korean country.

After I returned back home I was stationed at Pop Air Force base in North Carolina and was
