Old Cars Are In My Blood
The good news is, I just burned through another birthday and I’m still in okay-enough condition to complain about it among the pages of The World’s Greatest Book of Vehicles and Vehicle-Related Stuff for Sale. I’ll take it.
I celebrated the milestone in the proud tradition of post-middle agers everywhere: Dinner at 4:30 p.m., , then off to bed. OfCar and Motor Driver TrendsThen, into an exam room where I lied to the nurse about my height. A debate about the accuracy of their scale soon followed. Next? Story time. During which I spun comforting yarns about my lack of vices. Look, I respect that healthcare professionals are our partners in wellness, but they’re on a need-to-know basis about some of this stuff.
